When hunger strikes, these Low-Carb Cauliflower Cheese Pakoras are a great snack option. These crunchy bites can make you feel satiated with just a few mouthfuls. They are also considered an ideal companion for weight loss and offer a delightful taste. Without further ado, let’s delve into the recipe for these low-carb, cheese-filled cauliflower pakoras, a variation of the traditional fried MAC & Cheese recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 1 head cauliflower, grated (use only the head, not the stem)

  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese

  • 2 large eggs (or 3, as per preference)

  • Red chili powder (to taste)

  • Salt (to taste)

  • Garam masala (to taste)

  • Oil for frying (use coconut/ghee for low-carb high-fat diets, otherwise regular oil)

Method and Preparation:

  • Step 1: Grate the cauliflower using a food processor or grate manually if a processor is unavailable.
  • Step 2: In a muslin cloth, squeeze out excess cauliflower juice to prevent the bites from breaking while frying.
  • Step 3: Combine grated cheese, eggs, red chili powder, salt, and mix into a thick paste.
  • Step 4: Shape the mixture into small balls and deep fry until golden brown.

 

Delicious crispy cauliflower bites are ready to be served.

P.S. If the mixture is too runny, add a little gram flour to adjust the consistency.
